Director of Business Development - Architecture

In this role you will drive the firm's growth by shaping business development strategy and pursuing new client opportunities. You collaborate with principals, studio leaders, and marketing to strengthen the firm's market position and win work. You'll engage with owners, developers, public agencies, and industry partners, lead pursuits, and represent the firm at local industry events. You track pipeline activity and provide forecasting to support performance.

• Define and drive the business development strategy aligned with growth goals
• Identify, pursue, and secure new clients and project opportunities
• Build and maintain relationships with owners, developers, public agencies, and industry partners
• Lead and support pursuits, RFQs/RFPs, interviews, and presentations
• Collaborate with principals, studio leaders, and marketing to position the firm competitively
• Represent the firm at industry events and within the Kansas City AEC community
• Track pipeline activity and report on BD performance and forecasting
