Litigation Paralegal

We are seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support one attorney in a personal injury general litigation practice. This onsite role involves managing case documentation, maintaining deadlines, and assisting with litigation support tasks. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable handling large volumes of legal documents in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage active litigation files from lawsuit filing through trial.
• Maintain litigation calendars and track court deadlines.
• Prepare and file pleadings, motions, notices, and subpoenas.
• Coordinate service of process and court filings (state and federal e-filing).
• Draft and assist with discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production,
• and requests for admissions.
• Review, organize, and summarize discovery responses and deposition transcripts.
• Obtain, organize, and summarize medical records and billing statements.
• Prepare medical chronologies and damages summaries.
• Schedule and coordinate depositions, mediations, and hearings.
• Communicate with clients, medical providers, experts, and court personnel.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
• Maintain organized case files and update case management systems.
• Support settlement preparation and case closing documentation.

Requirements

• Four-year degree preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant legal or administrative experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent grammar, proofreading, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle large documents.
• Ability to pass background checks.

Compensation

• $45,000-50,000
