Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to Medical Surgical and Telemetry patients in an acute care setting
• Monitor and manage patients requiring cardiac drips with appropriate clinical oversight
• Care for post-cardiac catheterization recovery patients during the night shift
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Mississippi
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Experience with cardiac drips and post-cardiac catheterization recovery patients
• Must maintain a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Strong adaptability and ability to acclimate quickly to new clinical environments
