I.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide support to the Accounting Manager with reporting and special projects
Assist with day-to-day accounting and administrative functions
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Prepare and enter journal entries as needed
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
Support audits and financial reporting activities
Maintain organized accounting files and records
Accounts Payable Support
Process vendor invoices accurately and timely
Match purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documents
Prepare and process check runs and electronic payments
Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies
Maintain vendor files and W-9 documentation
Serve as backup for all AP responsibilities when needed
Accounts Receivable
Generate and distribute customer invoices
Apply customer payments and maintain accurate records
Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
Research and resolve billing discrepancies
Serve as backup for AR duties during absences or peak periods
2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, AP, or AR experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Experience with accounting software preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
