GROUP: Short Term Temporary (3 or 6 month term running May 1 - October 31)
HOURS PER WEEK: Full-Time averaging 40 hours per week

JOB PURPOSE: The Facilities Maintenance Technician (Seasonal Laborer) supports the maintenance and care of facilities, grounds, and infrastructure across American Prairie. This hands-on role helps ensure that access points, public use areas, equipment, vehicles, and landscapes spanning over 600,000 acres are well maintained, safe, and accessible. The position works closely with Project Specialists to perform routine maintenance and assist with project-based tasks.
Preferred candidates will have prior experience living or working in a motorhome or RV, particularly in remote or mobile work environments. Candidates should expect to relocate every 1-4 weeks.
