Director of Operations (Healthcare)

Company Description Carolina Kidney Care is a premier, physician-led nephrology practice with a 45-year legacy of delivering cutting-edge renal care to the Fayetteville, NC community. With 10 Board-Certified Physicians and 12 Advanced Practitioners, we operate a robust regional network including two outpatient offices and medical directorships across 16 dialysis units. We are currently in a high-growth phase, expanding into infusion services, clinical research, and laboratory partnerships. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site leadership position in Fayetteville, NC. The Director of Operations will be the architect of our daily clinical and administrative functions. You will bridge the gap between clinical excellence and business efficiency by optimizing workflows for a large provider team, strengthening revenue cycle performance, and implementing data-driven technology solutions. This role partners directly with physician leadership to operationalize strategic joint ventures and launch new service lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Excellence: Oversee multi-site operations, optimizing staffing models and workflows for 20+ providers.
• Strategic Growth: Support the build-out of new service lines including clinical research, lab services, and infusion.
• Financial Stewardship: Drive Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) performance and manage operational budgets/KPIs.
• Leadership: Foster a high-performance culture across clinical and administrative teams.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of healthcare operations leadership (multi-site experience highly preferred
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or Business; MBA or MHA highly preferred
• Technical: Strong proficiency in EPIC or similar enterprise-level EMR/PM systems.
• Certification: CMPE or FACMPE (MGMA) is a significant plus.
