SHD Composite Materials Inc seeks a Quality Inspector / Production Operator to support advanced composite manufacturing for aerospace, automotive, renewable energy and other high‑performance sectors. In this hands-on role, you will inspect prepregs, resin systems and finished components, operate production equipment, and document results to strict quality standards. You’ll read technical drawings, perform in-process and final checks, support root-cause investigations, and collaborate closely with engineering and production teams in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. Inspect composite materials, prepregs, and finished parts against specifications using gauges, micrometers, and other measurement tools Document inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions in quality systems and production records Operate production equipment for layup, curing, cutting, and processing composite materials per work instructions Perform in-process and final quality checks to ensure compliance with aerospace, automotive, and industrial standards Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and material specifications Follow safety, handling, and contamination-control procedures for resins, adhesives, and composite materials Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes Support root-cause investigations and continuous improvement activities on the production floor Maintain clean, organized work areas and properly calibrate and care for inspection tools and equipment Meet production schedules while maintaining strict quality, documentation, and traceability requirements Quality inspection Composite materials handling Use of gauges and micrometers Dimensional measurement Reading technical drawings Production equipment operation Documentation and traceability Non-conformance reporting Basic root-cause analysis Safety and handling of resins/adhesives ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) preferred IPC/ISO or aerospace quality standard exposure (e.g., AS9100) a plus OSHA safety or equivalent industrial safety training beneficial5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
