A not-for-profit healthcare system in the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina seeks a Medical Oncologist/Hematologist withexcellent quality of life in an outpatient-only practice setting with no competition in the market. Practice Highlights Joining a team of 4 providers - 1 Hem/Onc and 3 Nurse Practitioners Average 14-16 patients/day (70% oncology/30% hematology) Radiation Oncology, Surgical Oncology, and Breast Surgeon on-site NO inpatient responsibilities - Nurse Practitioners handle all inpatient consults Phone call (very minimal) EPIC EMR Active clinical trials (UNC affiliate) Compensation and Benefits Base compensation $475,000-$500,000 based on experience + Production $50,000-$75,000 Signing Bonus $4,000 CME Six weeks PTO Health insurance 403-B retirement plan with employer match Paid malpractice with tail coverage Life in the North Carolina Blue Ridge Mountains Located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, Boone is one of the Southeast's most well-known university and resort communities.
