Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract assignment is conveniently located near Omaha, NE for the 2026-27 academic year-beginning August 10, 2026, and concluding either December 18, 2026, or May 25, 2027, depending on school needs and your availability.

The ideal candidate will work with a caseload of 20-25 students, focusing on resource support, co-teaching, paperwork completion, and managing resource-specific study halls. Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Valid credential as a Special Education Teacher or LPN/LVN (school experience strongly preferred)

  • Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and documentation
  • Ability to manage resource rooms and effectively lead study hall environments
  • Experience or willingness to collaborate in co-teaching settings
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for managing caseload and required paperwork
