Assists and supports Firearms Logistics Manager daily with logistics related to accountability, maintenance and support of all Academy firearms, parts, tools and ammunition. Primary responsibilities include executing the maintenance program for the fleet of “in use” firearms including lifecycle, factory recommended, return to depot maintenance and ammunition support.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Inspect, repair and maintain Academy and Pro Shop firearms in accordance with applicable armorer/operator manuals.
Organizes and prepares “off-site” armorer field kits for remote training courses.
Assists with firearms and ammunition accountability as required.
Conducts cycle counts based on daily, monthly and annual requirements.
Assist as required Pro Shop staff with customer Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) services.
Executes certain duties of the Firearms Program Manager when necessary, in regards to serial number and ammunition management.
Executes other duties as assigned.
