Catholic Medical Center seeks a Director of Respiratory Therapy to lead all respiratory care services across our acute-care hospital and outpatient programs. The Director oversees clinical practice standards, staffing, scheduling, and regulatory compliance while advancing evidence-based respiratory care for diverse adult and pediatric populations. Responsibilities include budgeting, quality and performance improvement, staff education, collaboration with physicians and nursing, and support of CMC’s faith-based, patient-centered mission. The Director will drive clinical innovation, patient safety, and service excellence while mentoring a high-performing, multidisciplinary respiratory team. Lead and manage respiratory therapy department operations and staffing Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and safety standards Develop, implement, and monitor evidence-based respiratory care protocols Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and equipment management Drive quality improvement and patient safety initiatives Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and allied health teams on care planning Recruit, mentor, and evaluate respiratory therapy staff performance Coordinate orientation, education, and competency development programs Analyze clinical and operational data to improve outcomes and efficiency Promote mission-driven, patient-centered, and faith-based care culture Respiratory therapy clinical expertise Departmental leadership and team management Healthcare budgeting and resource management Regulatory and accreditation compliance (e.g., Joint Commission) Quality improvement and patient safety methodologies Staff education, coaching, and performance management Electronic medical records and respiratory documentation systems Data analysis and clinical outcomes monitoring Interdisciplinary care coordination and communication Policy, protocol, and procedure development Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential New Hampshire Respiratory Care Practitioner license (or eligibility) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT) or RPFT preferred Leadership or management training in healthcare preferred5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
