As a Business Process Architect at Lonza, you will design, optimize, and govern end‑to‑end business processes that enable high-quality, compliant biopharmaceutical development and manufacturing. Partnering with operations, quality, IT, and project teams, you will analyze current workflows, map future-state processes, and define standards that align with GxP and global best practices. You will lead cross-functional workshops, translate business requirements into process and system designs, and support implementation of digital solutions and continuous improvement initiatives. You will monitor performance using KPIs and help scale processes across Lonza’s global network. Design and document end-to-end business processes for biopharma development and manufacturing Analyze current workflows, identify gaps, and propose process improvements Facilitate cross-functional workshops and requirements-gathering sessions Ensure processes align with GxP, quality, and regulatory expectations Translate business needs into process and supporting system designs Collaborate with IT to support digitalization and workflow automation Define and maintain process governance, standards, and documentation Develop and track KPIs to monitor process performance and compliance Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives across global sites Support change management, training, and adoption of new processes Business process modeling (BPMN or similar) Process analysis and optimization Lean/Six Sigma methods GxP and regulatory compliance understanding ERP/MES systems (e.g., SAP) Requirements gathering and documentation Data analysis and KPI development Change management and stakeholder facilitation Project management Technical writing and process documentation Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification in Business Process Management (BPM) or equivalent Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 preferred Experience with GxP and biopharma/regulated industry standards Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP/MES systems5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
