Lightspeed is looking to hire a Sales Professional that has an established professional network of relevant contacts or a thriving book of business. The Sales Professional will initiate, contact, and communicate with prospective clients to determine if Lightspeed Financial Services Group can provide brokerage services. Lightspeed is interested in partnering with like-minded, forward-thinking, ambitious Sales professionals and will deliver a very aggressive payout for success.

Successful applicants should have several years of experience in sales, trading, or support, ideally in Equities, Options, Futures, or Crypto markets. Candidates should have a wide network of contacts in trading or investment as well as a deep understanding of how markets work.

• Bring an elevated focus to developing new business with Professional and Active Traders and Small Business Trading Units that directly align with Lightspeed's product offerings.
• Skilled prospecting and proactive outreach efforts are required
• Identifies and pursues business development opportunities
• Coordinates and supports meetings and presentations with prospective clients, primarily via phone and web-based meetings, with occasional onsite presentations.
• May be requested to engage industry organizations on a local and national level to increase Lightspeed exposure.
• Responsible for developing and sustaining a long-term relationship with clients

What you have

• Bachelor's degree is highly preferred
• Brokerage, financial, or accounting experience within a corporate or brokerage environment preferred
• Willingness to travel, as needed
• Series 7 and 63 are encouraged, but not required.
• Exceptional prospecting and proactive outreach skills.
• Ability to think and act logically under pressure.
• Excellent communication, listening, interpersonal, PC, client service, and analytical skills.
• Highly creative, self-motivated, can work independently, and resourceful.
