Principal, Business Consulting - Commercial Lending (Banking)

In this Principal role, you drive strategic, industry-focused programs for the Lending space, partnering with top financial institutions to shape new products and modernization efforts. You will define domain blueprints, roadmaps, and drive innovation while guiding client workshops and delivering tailored LoanIQ-based solutions. You'll leverage deep industry knowledge to influence outcomes and establish yourself as a thought leader. This role combines hands-on consulting with cross-functional collaboration to deliver measurable business impact.

• Lead strategic programs and client engagements in Lending and related financial services domains
• Guide LoanIQ integration projects and drive business/IT workshops
• Document requirements through BRDs, functional specs, and user stories ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance
• Develop domain blueprints, roadmaps, and solutions in collaboration with delivery teams
• Analyze requirements and design solutions with a focus on fit-for-purpose LoanIQ usage and operations
• Travel up to 4 days/week to client locations as needed
• Support business transformation initiatives within banking/financial services

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Minimum 7 years in Financial Services with a focus on commercial lending, syndication, and loan trading
• Proven experience as Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, or SME in LoanIQ implementations, migrations, and integrations
• Strong understanding of LoanIQ functionalities and Loan Operations/Servicing
• Ability to lead workshops and craft solutions with cross-functional teams
• Proficient in BRDs, functional specifications, and user stories
• NY/NJ-based or willing to relocate; willing to travel; work authorization in the US
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree (preferred)
• Experience with design thinking and banking transformation initiatives (preferred)
