Spectrum360, a Verona, NJ nonprofit, seeks a Paraprofessional Aide for its Lower School serving students with autism and related disabilities. In this role, you’ll support individualized instruction, behavior plans, and communication goals under teacher direction. You’ll assist with small-group learning, data collection, personal care, and classroom management while promoting inclusion, safety, and independence. Working within a collaborative, person-centered team, you’ll receive ongoing training and contribute directly to positive outcomes for students and their families. Support Lower School students with autism and related disabilities in classroom and small-group settings Implement teacher-designed lesson plans, behavior supports, and IEP goals Provide individualized academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support Assist with data collection and documentation of student progress Help with personal care, transitions, and classroom safety as needed Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff Communicate effectively with team members and follow program protocols Set up, organize, and maintain instructional materials and learning spaces Use visual supports, AAC, and other specialized tools as directed Participate in trainings and professional development activities Classroom support for students with autism Implementing behavior support strategies Assisting with IEP implementation Data collection and progress monitoring Use of visual supports and AAC tools De-escalation and crisis prevention techniques Basic child supervision and safety procedures Collaboration with special education teams Documentation and record-keeping Basic computer and educational technology use Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) preferred Crisis prevention/intervention training (e.g., CPI) a plus First Aid/CPR certification preferred5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
