Associate Director Business Development Energy & Infrastructure

In this role you drive growth for the Energy & Infrastructure sector within a leading global law firm. You will partner with sector leaders to identify opportunities, shape go to market strategies, and expand the client base across offices. You'll manage a high performing BD team, oversee strategic pitches and thought leadership, and measure success with clear KPIs. • Develop and execute BD strategies aligned to sector growth objectives
• Partner with sector leaders to identify opportunities and convert them into new business
• Drive revenue growth via targetting, pipeline management, key accounts, and cross-selling
• Lead client relationship development and expand the sector's client base
• Oversee creation of strategic pitches, proposals, and pursuit strategies
• Direct thought leadership, PR, rankings, and market positioning efforts
• Manage industry events, sponsorships, and conference strategies with measurable outcomes
• Leverage market intelligence to identify trends and inform priorities
• Build, mentor, and lead a BD team and coach partners on visibility and client development
• Establish and track KPIs related to client growth, pitch success, and market share

• 10+ years of BD and marketing experience in legal or professional services
• Experience within Energy & Infrastructure sector preferred
• Proven success in revenue growth and client development
• Strong strategic planning, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement
• Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
• Experience managing teams and influencing in complex organizations
• Strong project management and ability to navigate multiple priorities
• Commercial acumen with ability to anticipate market trends
