Overview

As VP, you shape the future Finance operating model and lead high-impact transformation initiatives. You partner across Finance, Technology, Operations, and enterprise strategy to drive a sustainable target state with strong controls. You'll act as a transformation leader, architect, and strategist, translating strategy into multi-year programs and realizing value. This role centers on change, not routine production work, and aims to build a modern Finance Strategy & Execution capability that supports the firm's broader objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Define the enterprise-wide operating model for Finance and shape the strategic transformation agenda
  • Lead complex Finance transformation initiatives with clear accountability for outcomes and value realization
  • Translate enterprise and Finance strategy into multi-year programs and manage risk across a portfolio
  • Collaborate with Financial Controllers, Accounts Payable, and FP&A to navigate an evolving environment
  • Contribute to transformation architecture, ensuring coherence across the operating model and scalable solutions
  • Lead cross-functional sessions on future-state design, decisions, and adoption
  • Drive integration across core Finance platforms (G/L, sub-ledgers, consolidation, planning, reconciliation) to reduce complexity and manual work
  • Serve as trusted advisor to Finance leadership and partner with Technology to articulate rationale and trade-offs of transformation decisions
  • Embed AI/automation into the operating model and design scalable, agile solutions
Key requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in Financial Accounting, Finance Transformation/Strategy, or similar advisory roles in complex financial institutions
  • Deep knowledge of Financial Reporting, Accounts Payable, FP&A
  • Proven track record designing and leading large-scale Finance transformations
  • Ability to operate credibly at both strategic and detailed architecture levels
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and influencing capabilities
  • Change leadership and influence across all levels
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management
  • Analytical, insight-led thinking
  • Experience with major Finance platforms (SAP, Oracle, OneStream)
  • Automation, solutioning and AI in Finance
  • Data architecture for analytics and decision intelligence
