Associate Director, Automation & Business Transformation

In this role you will lead the automation and transformation agenda for Medicaid and Commercial Contract Operations within ROCC, driving process optimization and analytics to enable scalable, compliant solutions. You will bridge business and IT, turning operational challenges into actionable programs from concept to value realization. The position focuses on Medicaid operations, including claims validation and rebate adjudication, and seeks to strengthen efficiency, risk management, and long-term scalability. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable improvements and adoption of automated solutions.

• Act as a center of excellence for process optimization, AI, automation, and analytics across Medicaid and Commercial Contract Operations
• Identify high-value transformation opportunities by assessing end-to-end processes, data flows, and controls
• Evaluate AI/automation tools for fit, feasibility, integration, security, and scalability
• Lead cross-functional initiatives from current-state to future-state design, development, testing, implementation, and adoption
• Draft process maps, business requirements, control docs, SOPs, work instructions, and implementation plans
• Ensure solutions comply with Medicaid and contractual/regulatory requirements and enterprise standards
• Establish automation governance, including testing, change control, and ongoing oversight
• Manage the automation portfolio, track milestones, risks, benefits, and adoption measures
• Provide leadership with concise status updates, performance metrics, and risk assessments
• Drive adoption, reuse, and knowledge sharing across functions

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, information systems, analytics, operations, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
• 7+ years of progressive experience in biopharma, including leadership of cross-functional initiatives
• 3+ years knowledge of Medicaid rebate operations and commercial contracting/revenue management processes
• Proven track record delivering enterprise automation and operations transformation from strategy to implementation
• Experience with process assessment, requirements development, control design, testing, change management, governance, and performance measurement
• Working knowledge of AI, robotic process automation, predictive analytics, and workflow automation; familiarity with Model N, Power BI, Power Platform, Copilot, Claude or similar tools preferred
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical, executive communication, project leadership, and stakeholder management
