RN PACU

WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) role. This position offers a stable weekday schedule with no weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in post-anesthesia care and a commitment to ensuring exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient status throughout the recovery process.
• Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Educate patients and families regarding post-operative care and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Promote a safe, patient-centered environment throughout the recovery phase.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• PACU, Critical Care, ED, or Perioperative nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient surgical setting.
