Medical Supply Coordinator

SNF Healthcare , an Atlas Healthcare facility, is searching for a Medical Supply Coordinator. Our ideal candidate should be able to perform the job duties listed below.

Job requirements:

• Restocks all unit shelves to maintain an adequate supply for the nursing staff on a daily basis
• Maintains an inventory that is not excessive
• Completes physical inventory daily and orders products as required
• Checks and removes expired products or those near the expiration date
• Records receipt appropriately and maintains pertinent records
• Works with Nursing Unit Managers to organize stock room and review par levels
• Maintains a clean and organized work area
• Clean storage areas should be maintained in accordance with Department of Health, JACHO and infection control standards
• Ensures that orders are delivered to the correct unit within 24 hours of delivery to the facility.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required
• 1-3 years experience in a hospital setting highly preferred
• Ability to push, pull, walk or stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs
• Computer skills required: Will be required to use MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
