Role Description

The Campus Store Manager at Western New Mexico University will oversee daily operations, ensuring an efficient, customer-centric retail environment. This full-time, on-site role in Silver City, NM involves managing store staff, maintaining inventory, ensuring compliance with retail loss prevention practices, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The Store Manager will also drive sales growth, manage budgets, and implement merchandising strategies to align with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to ensure a positive shopping and service experience.
• Effective Communication skills to lead and mentor team members while interacting with diverse university stakeholders.
• Experience in Store Management, including managing budgets, inventory, and operational procedures.
• Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices and techniques to safeguard assets and ensure compliance.
• Ability to multi-task, lead a team effectively, and remain adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in a retail and/or higher education environment is preferred.
