Director of Business Development / Business Development Specialist
Network Solutions IPA (NSIPA) is seeking an energetic, relationship-driven Business Development Professional to help drive growth, expand strategic partnerships, and identify new opportunities across healthcare and population health initiatives.
Whether you're an experienced Director of Business Development or a motivated Business Development Specialist we're looking for someone who is passionate about building relationships, generating new business, and helping organizations grow.
About NSIPA
Network Solutions IPA is one of New York's fastest-growing Independent Practice Associations, representing over 600 providers and serving more than 100,000 patients across New York. We work closely with physicians, health plans, hospitals, and community organizations to improve healthcare quality, patient outcomes, and value-based care performance.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Sales
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.
- Develop relationships with physician practices, healthcare organizations, hospitals, community organizations, and strategic partners.
- Generate and manage a pipeline of prospective clients and partners.
- Present NSIPA's services and value proposition to potential partners.
Account Implementation & Relationship Management
- Assist with onboarding new accounts and ensuring a smooth implementation process.
- Serve as a liaison between clients, providers, and internal teams.
- Maintain and strengthen long-term business relationships.
- Monitor client satisfaction and identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts.
Strategic Development
- Bring innovative ideas to support organizational growth.
- Research market opportunities and industry trends.
- Assist leadership with strategic planning and expansion initiatives.
- Support proposal development, presentations, and business negotiations.
Project & Initiative Management
- Help coordinate special projects from concept through execution.
- Work cross-functionally with operations, provider relations, care management, and executive leadership.
- Track progress and ensure key initiatives remain on schedule.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and results-driven.
- Experience in business development, sales, account management, healthcare, or related fields preferred.
- Ability to build relationships with executives, physicians, and community leaders.
- Comfortable networking, attending meetings, and representing the organization.
- Healthcare experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
