Role Profile

The Rohatyn Group (TRG) is seeking a motivated Finance Analyst to join our Finance team in New York. This role will support core financial planning & analysis (FP&A) activities, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and business analysis.

We are open to candidates at both the entry-level (recent graduates) and early-career (1+ years of experience) stages. The level, responsibilities, and compensation will be aligned based on the candidate's experience and skill set.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures.
  • Create and maintain forecasting/budgeting P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow models as well as the development of financial models to address business needs.
  • Identify, track and analyze key metrics / trends that impact the business.
  • Review monthly expense results with functional department heads.
  • Work closely with various levels of global finance team to ensure alignment on priorities and direction.
  • Identify and act on opportunities to automate, streamline and improve reporting and budgeting procedures.
  • Support day-to-day operations with various finance functions.
  • Provide cost/benefit analysis of various financial elements of potential new initiatives.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly management presentations/reporting packages.
  • Ad-hoc analyses as needed.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 0–2+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or FP&A
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, financial modeling).Experience with Power BI or similar tools a plus
  • Basic understanding of financial statements and basic accounting principles
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Compensation

Salary Range: $68,000 – $90,000 base salary, commensurate with experience. This role may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and benefits package.
