Office Finance Manager

In this role, you will lead the New York Finance Team to protect the integrity of office financial data and drive outcomes across budgeting, forecasting, and project profitability. You will partner with office leadership to plan strategically, develop talent, and improve processes that support a growing, multi-portfolio operation. You will guide end-to-end financial support across project lifecycles, from planning through closeout, influencing decisions that affect cash flow and margins. • Oversee project finance staff and processes, ensuring accurate financial data and timely reporting.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for the NY office with multiple portfolios and P&Ls.
• Develop and manage a high-performing Finance Team, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with internal stakeholders (billing, audit) to enhance efficiency and reduce non-value-added time.
• Ensure compliance with contracting, cash management, subcontract, change, and financial controls.
• Provide financial guidance across pursuit, project management, and delivery to optimize profitability and cash outcomes.
• Coordinate month-end close, revenue recognition, and backlog reporting to support strategic planning.
• Foster early engagement of Finance resources in project lifecycle and lifecycle decision-making.
• Monitor cash management, collections, and overall office profitability, escalating risks when needed.

• Bachelor
• 10 years of financial, project accounting/analysis, or related experience
• 2 years of people management
