Global Banking & Markets - Capital Solutions Group - Residential Structured Finance - Origination Focused - Vice President

In this role you will source, structure and market securitizations across agency and non-agency collateral, involving both proprietary RSF opportunities and GS-shared client relationships. You will work with Sales, Trading and Investment Banking to pursue live deals, conduct due diligence, and evaluate risk across legal, regulatory and market dimensions. You will prepare term sheets and marketing materials, structure transactions, and monitor market developments to optimize financing structures. You will engage external clients, investors, and rating agencies, and you may travel to meet clients and participate in events.

• Source new securitization opportunities and manage end-to-end transaction execution
• Perform due diligence including market research, asset valuation, risk modeling, and regulatory risk assessment
• Structure securitizations across non-agency and non-traditional collateral sectors for principal and third-party transactions
• Prepare term sheets and marketing materials; ensure securitization documents are accurate and complete
• Collaborate on product development to address market developments and regulatory challenges
• Develop financial models to support deal execution, rating agency interactions, and investor discussions
• Communicate with external clients, investors, rating agencies, accountants, and internal teams on deal specifics
• Maintain active client engagement, travel for meetings, and contribute to the client franchise

• Structured products experience and knowledge of fixed income markets
• Financial modeling skills for deal structure and cash flow waterfall models
• Experience with Intex and Bloomberg
• Experience evaluating non-agency mortgage-backed securities
• Ability to work under tight timeframes with clients and teams
• Enthusiastic, proactive team player driving transactions and projects
• Bachelor degree with 8-10+ years of relevant experience
