Investment & Corporate Banking Infrastructure & Project Finance Digital Infrastructure - Vice President

As a lead project finance banker in the digital infrastructure sector, you will originate, structure and execute non-recourse financings for data centers and related power assets. You will craft marketing and financing proposals, coordinate with cross-functional capital markets teams, and manage client relationships with developers, sponsors, and operators. The role combines origination, underwriting and execution with mentorship of junior staff within a high-performing, market-leading platform. You will help shape the group's digital infrastructure strategy and drive cross-sell of advisory and financing solutions.

• Originate and execute project finance transactions end-to-end, including marketing materials, proposals, and client engagement
• Lead transaction structuring, credit applications, and negotiations of financing documents
• Coordinate with Capital Markets, Risk, Ratings Advisory, and product teams to optimize financing structures
• Manage junior team members and oversee deal execution across multiple transactions
• Develop and maintain relationships with top-tier sponsors, developers and investors
• Prospect for new clients and assist in marketing materials and client meetings
• Mentor Analysts and Associates, supporting capability expansion in digital infrastructure
• Stay abreast of market conditions, investor appetite, and emerging financing structures
• Cross-sell additional Mizuho services (ECM, DCM, Ratings Advisory, derivatives)
• Contribute to the group's business plan and digital infrastructure strategy

• MBA, MS or LLM degrees with a strong quantitative background, or other relevant work experience
• 7+ years' experience in Project Finance and 5+ years' credit experience in a commercial bank
• Existing client relationships with top and mid-tier sponsors
• Established relationships with project finance banks, ECAs, multilaterals and development banks
