Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Assistant at Fordham Dermatology located in Bronx, NY. Responsibilities include assisting physicians and healthcare professionals with clinical tasks, managing patient care, maintaining accurate medical records, and handling day-to-day operations in a medical office setting. Duties may also involve preparing examination rooms, coordinating patient schedules, and ensuring effective communication between the medical team and patients.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Medical Assisting, with experience in supporting physicians in clinical tasks
• Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology to ensure effective communication and accurate documentation
• Familiarity with Medical Offices and operational workflows
• Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate and efficient Patient Care
• Experience in managing Medical Records, including organization and confidentiality
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) is a plus
