Medical Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vital signs, and prepare examination rooms.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records.
• Support overall clinic flow for a high-volume orthopedic practice.
• Ensure exam rooms are cleaned, stocked, and ready between patient visits.
• Follow clinical protocols, safety guidelines, and HIPAA standards.
• Provide friendly, patient-centered service throughout each encounter.

Required Qualifications

• Medical Assisting experience in a clinical setting.
• Strong communication and patient interaction skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)

• Experience with drawing labs/phlebotomy.
• Previous experience or knowledge in orthopedics.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA/CCMA) credential.
