Nurse Practitioner High-Risk OB / Maternal-Fetal Medicine (NY Metro Area)Compensation: $130,000 $150,000 per year (commensurate with experience)Job Type: Full-time or Part-time, MondayFriday, daytime schedule, in-person (outpatient)We are seeking a compassionate and clinically strong Nurse Practitioner to join a growing, high-risk OB consult practice in the NY metro area. This practice specializes in maternal-fetal medicine, providing comprehensive care to women across the full spectrum of pregnancyfrom routine prenatal management to the most complex, high-risk cases.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive outpatient care to high-risk obstetric patients throughout pregnancy and postpartumConduct patient assessments, obtain and document detailed medical and obstetric histories, and perform physical examinationsDevelop, implement, and manage individualized care plans in collaboration with the MFM physician and OB/GYN providersPrescribe and manage medications in accordance with clinical guidelines and scope of practiceOrder, review, and interpret diagnostic tests, imaging, and laboratory resultsMonitor patient progress and respond appropriately to changes in conditionEducate patients and families with empathy, clarity, and cultural sensitivityCoordinate care with referring OB/GYNs and other specialists as neededAccurately document all encounters in the electronic health record (EHR)Participate in clinical collaboration, care planning, and ongoing quality improvement efforts read more
