Senior FPGA / RTL Engineer – Quantitative Trading Location: New York City, NY Specialism: FPGA Architecture / RTL / Low-Latency Systems Recruiter: Branch Tech Recruitment About the opportunity Branch Tech is expanding its FPGA engineering network across New York's quantitative trading, electronic market-making and financial technology sectors. We're looking to connect with experienced FPGA and RTL engineers who have designed complex digital systems and enjoy solving demanding challenges in latency-sensitive environments. This is an expression-of-interest opportunity for future recruitment discussions, not an active position with a named employer. Areas of technical expertise End-to-end FPGA architecture, design and implementation. Advanced RTL development using SystemVerilog, Verilog or VHDL. FPGA acceleration and hardware/software co-design. Low-latency data processing, network protocols and high-speed interfaces. Market-data pipelines, packet processing and execution infrastructure. FPGA verification, constrained-random testing and simulation. Timing optimisation, resource utilisation and hardware debugging. High-performance computing, networking or ASIC/SoC design. Ideal background We'd like to speak with engineers who have taken ownership of FPGA designs throughout the development lifecycle, from architecture and RTL implementation through verification and deployment. Candidates with experience in HFT, proprietary trading or quantitative finance are of particular interest. We're also keen to meet engineers from adjacent sectors with strong FPGA architecture and low-latency hardware expertise. Why Branch Tech? Branch Tech is a specialist recruitment business focused on FPGA, ASIC, RTL and advanced hardware engineering. We're building long-term relationships with engineers across the US, rather than approaching candidates only when a particular vacancy becomes available. If you're considering a move now, or would simply like to discuss the types of opportunities that could interest you in the future, we'd welcome a confidential conversation. Apply to register your interest in future FPGA engineering opportunities across New York's quantitative trading market.5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386 read more
