Healthcare Litigation Associate Attorney

A specialized law firm is seeking a skilled Healthcare Litigation Attorney to represent healthcare providers, organizations, and practitioners in matters including medical malpractice defense, regulatory disputes, and employment-related claims. This role involves navigating complex healthcare laws to provide vigorous and ethical representation.

Location: New York, NY (On-site)

Salary: $175,000 - $225,000 per year

• Manage all phases of litigation including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
• Provide legal counsel on risk management, compliance, and dispute resolution
• Draft and review legal pleadings, motions, and appellate briefs
• Conduct in-depth research on healthcare statutes, regulations, and case law
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediation and arbitration
• Collaborate with medical experts to develop case theories

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
• 7+ years of experience in healthcare litigation or medical malpractice defense
• Strong understanding of HIPAA, Stark Law, and healthcare regulations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on persuasive advocacy
• Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities in high-pressure environments
