** Bankruptcy Attorney – New York City / Uniondale – Hybrid Remote**

Job duties:

Work hybrid remote.

We have offices in New York City and Uniondale.

• Represent debtors, Chapter 7 trustees, secured creditors, and lenders in bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings.
• Handle matters arising under Chapters 7 and 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.
• Represent secured lenders in loan workouts and related negotiations.
• Advise clients on bankruptcy laws, creditors’ rights, and insolvency-related matters.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery demands, settlement agreements, and other bankruptcy-related filings.
• Appear in bankruptcy court and participate in hearings, conferences, negotiations, and related proceedings.

Required:

· NY bar

· Recent bankruptcy experience

You should know some of the following:

· Represent debtors, trustees, creditors, and lenders

· Creditors’ rights

· Insolvency

· Commercial disputes / foreclosures

· Chapter 7, 11

· Loan workouts
