A well-established New York City real estate law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3–6 years of real estate litigation experience to join its litigation practice. The attorney will handle sophisticated real estate disputes in New York Supreme Court and commercial litigation matters , with the opportunity to take meaningful responsibility for cases and work closely with experienced attorneys. Responsibilities Handle real estate and commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery demands and other substantive legal documents Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategy Manage discovery, court appearances and conferences Work directly with clients and senior attorneys on active matters Qualifications 3–6 years of real estate litigation experience New York Bar admission Experience litigating matters in New York Supreme Court Strong legal research, writing and analytical skills Ability to independently manage matters and deadlines Commercial litigation experience involving real estate disputes strongly preferred The Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity for a real estate litigator seeking substantive case responsibility within an established New York City practice handling sophisticated landlord, owner and real estate-related disputes.
