Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesDirectly supervises the activities of all of the Security Associates on assigned shift.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training associates, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining associates, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education And/Or Experience:High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's degree in Criminal Justice or related area preferred. Two years supervisory experience in security / surveillance or related field required. Must be a New York State licensed Security Guard.
Special Qualifications:Minimum of two years in law enforcement, security, loss prevention, surveillance, or related area required. Must possess excellent observational and communication skills. Must be computer-literate (Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook).
