Position Title: Procurement/ Buyer Consultant Location: NYC, NY Hours: 9AM to 5:30PM, ½ hour unpaid lunch, 35 billable hours per week. Summary of Position Manage end-to-end procurement and sourcing activities for mid-to-high complexity requirements. Lead RFPs, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and contract administration while partnering with Project Managers, Legal, and internal stakeholders to achieve cost savings, efficiency, and compliance. Key Responsibilities: · Manage requisitions and develop RFP sourcing strategies. · Review SOWs, evaluate bids, perform pricing analysis, and recommend awards. · Lead cross-functional meetings and supplier negotiations. · Draft RFPs, award recommendations, and required approval documentation. · Manage the full contract lifecycle, including execution, changes, renewals, and closeout. · Monitor supplier performance, POs, pricing discrepancies, and compliance. · Identify cost-saving, spend-consolidation, and diversity opportunities. · Maintain procurement records and ensure adherence to MTA policies. Required Experience: RFP/sourcing, contract writing, negotiation, and administration. Procure-to-pay processes and procurement policies. ERP purchasing/procurement systems. Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
