Lighthouse CH seeks a caring childcare team member to support our Christ-centered ministry to children and families in Delray Beach. In this role, you will provide safe, nurturing care for infants, children, and youth during programs, mentoring sessions, and community events. Responsibilities include supervising groups, planning age-appropriate activities, supporting emotional and spiritual care, maintaining a secure, clean environment, and partnering with staff and volunteers. Join a faith-driven, compassionate team serving families in crisis with practical help, hope, and the love of Christ. Provide safe, nurturing care for children during Lighthouse CH programs, mentoring sessions, and events. Supervise infants, children, and youth, ensuring constant safety, engagement, and age-appropriate interaction. Plan and lead developmentally appropriate, Christ-centered activities, games, and lessons. Support children’s emotional and spiritual needs with compassion, patience, and encouragement. Maintain clean, organized, and secure childcare spaces in compliance with safety standards. Communicate with parents, guardians, and ministry staff regarding child needs, behaviors, and incidents. Follow all Lighthouse CH policies, including child protection, health, and emergency procedures. Collaborate with staff and volunteers to support outreach and family programs effectively. Observe and document notable behaviors, concerns, or needs and report to supervising staff. Participate in required training, team meetings, and spiritual growth opportunities within the ministry.
