What You'll Do:

• Lead and oversee daily Ohio Medicaid billing operations, including claims submission, payment posting, accounts receivable follow-up, and denial management.
• Supervise, train, and support billing and AR staff while monitoring productivity, quality, and performance.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex claims, denials, and billing issues.
• Ensure accurate claim submission and compliance with Ohio Medicaid regulations, timely filing requirements, and payer guidelines.
• Monitor clearinghouse and payer rejections, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee appeals, payment posting, and resolution of outstanding accounts receivable balances.
• Maintain compliance with ODM, HIPAA, NCCI edits, EVV requirements, and internal quality standards.
• Track and report key revenue cycle metrics, including denial rates, collections, AR aging, and clean claim rates.
• Develop and maintain billing procedures, workflows, and process improvement initiatives.
• Partner with clinical, finance, intake, credentialing, and payer representatives to support revenue cycle performance and resolve billing concerns.

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of medical billing and accounts receivable experience
• Experience with Ohio Medicaid billing
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience
• Knowledge of medical billing regulations and coding practices
• Proficiency with EHR/Practice Management systems and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Industry certifications such as CRCR, CMRS, CPC, or CPB are a plus
