Mergers & Acquisitions Finance and Operations Manager

In this M&A Manager role, you help clients plan and execute finance integration and separation activities across the transaction lifecycle. You will lead engagements and deliver solutions that align integration or divestiture strategies with Day 1 readiness and future-state goals to maximize value. You'll work with senior executives to drive growth, manage risk, and support post-transaction activities within a collaborative M&A Fin & Ops team. This opportunity offers exposure to high-impact transactions and cross-functional finance transformations within a premier advisory practice.

• Lead small engagements or components of larger ones focusing on finance integration/separation
• Align Day 1 plans with integration/divestiture strategies and value capture objectives
• Manage workstreams across financial close/reporting, planning/forecasting, treasury, controls/compliance, and tax coordination
• Develop playbooks, analyses, and client-ready recommendations for integration, divestiture, and value capture
• Oversee deliverables quality and day-to-day team relationships; coordinate stakeholders
• Support business development through proposals, market research, and offerings development

• 6+ years of mergers and acquisitions experience or MBA with 4+ years of related work
• Experience in Day 1 planning, policy, process, and systems alignment; financial consolidation and reporting
• Experience managing M&A engagements including scope, work plans, and lifecycle (due diligence to post-merger integration)
• Experience leading workstreams in financial close, planning/forecasting, treasury, or tax coordination
• 5+ years in accounting, finance, controllership, FP&A, treasury, or financial reporting
• Ability to travel 50%
