SAP Finance Specialist/Consultant - Energy

As a finance-focused SAP ERP Consultant, you help CFOs transform core accounting and finance operations on SAP S/4HANA. You blend strong SAP finance knowledge with advisory and delivery skills, partnering across business and technology teams to turn priorities into scalable solutions. You will configure SAP ERP, analyze finance data, and guide users through new ways of working to drive enterprise value and controls. This role offers impact across finance transformation programs and leverages GenAI to improve close and reporting processes. • Engage with finance stakeholders to document current pain points and translate into SAP S/4HANA Finance requirements
• Contribute to business cases, roadmaps, and client presentations to demonstrate value of SAP S/4HANA Finance
• Design and configure end-to-end Finance solutions across GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Product Costing using SAP S/4HANA and related solutions
• Analyze finance data (COA, master data, sub-ledger mappings, journals, asset registers, reconciliations) to inform design and validate cutover readiness
• Coordinate system testing (unit, SIT, UAT), defect triage, cutover activities, and hypercare for SAP Finance releases
• Apply SAP Business AI capabilities and GenAI use cases to improve efficiency in close, controls, and reporting
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams in a Global Delivery model
• Coach analysts and junior team members; contribute to internal assets and best practices

• Minimum 3 years of functional SAP Finance experience (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and/or Product Costing)
• Minimum 3 years with SAP Asset Accounting / Fixed Assets incl. capitalization, depreciation, and parallel ledger
• Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA or SAP Finance implementations in configuration, functional, or delivery role
• Minimum 3 years of finance transformation consulting experience (process design, controllership, close optimization, or CFO advisory)
• Minimum 1 year of experience serving Energy clients and/or the industry
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years work experience)
