Business Banking Portfolio Credit Strategy Manager

In this role you partner with lines of business and risk teams to establish and oversee a robust risk management framework. You help ensure credit policies align with sound principles, regulatory requirements, and prudent growth. You will participate in cross-functional groups to implement policy changes, monitor impact, and mitigate risks. This is a chance to influence how risk and growth balance in a large, customer-focused financial institution.

• Provide ongoing credit policy support to the Business Banking organization, aligning with 2LoD policy owners
• Drive strategic credit initiatives balancing growth with prudent risk management
• Monitor the impact of credit initiatives and optimize results
• Represent the Business Banking Credit and Product teams in cross-functional groups
• Monitor changes to lending policies and engage stakeholders as needed
• Partner with Credit Delivery, Governance, and other stakeholders to assess policy changes and actions

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years of applicable experience
• Applicable professional certifications
• Strong understanding of credit principles across Business Banking, including SBA and conventional C&I/D&I lending
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop growth initiatives
• Experience partnering with multiple 1LoD and 2LoD risk partners and subject matter experts
• Proven analytic skills to inform data-driven recommendations
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint; knowledge of PowerBI, nCino, ACAPS, LEAP preferred
