Job Title Instructor Teacher Education Pool Posting AY 2026-2027, Curriculum and Instruction

Special Instructions to ApplicantsThe Department of Teacher Education is accepting applications for potential Instructor openings for courses in curriculum and instruction for the academic year 2026-2027. The need for these positions is undetermined at this time and is dependent on operational need including enrollment and staffing. If a need arises, the department will select candidates from this pool posting.
Application to this pool will be utilized to fill part-time, non-tenure track, non-benefits eligible instructor positions on the Athens campus as student demand dictates for fall and spring semesters.

- The number of Teacher Education courses offered each semester is dependent on student demand. The need may include both graduate and undergraduate courses in Curriculum and Instruction.
- The successful applicant will bring strong qualifications both academically and professionally.
Responsibilities:- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses on campus and/or online
- Contribute to the instructional mission of the Teacher Education
- Department and Patton College of Education
- Using Canvas for academic engagement
Minimum Qualifications- Master's degree in the field or comparable
- Current or prior teaching license
- Experience using technology for teaching
Preferred Qualifications- Earned doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction or a related field
- Demonstrated knowledge of theory and research-supported best practices for teaching and learning
- Experience and expertise in Teacher Education
- Evidence of professional training or attendance and/or presentations at conferences
- Ability to deliver online instruction
- Experience teaching in higher education
