OhioHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to provide high-quality CT imaging for acute and emergency patients in our hospital setting. In this role, you will perform diagnostic CT exams, ensure accurate patient identification, follow radiation safety standards, and collaborate closely with radiologists and the care team to support timely diagnoses. Perform CT scans for acute and emergency patients following established protocols Verify orders and patient identification; explain procedures and obtain consent Position patients and operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images Apply radiation safety and ALARA principles for patients and staff Monitor patients during and after procedures, escalating concerns promptly Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and providers to support timely diagnosis Document procedures, contrast usage, and patient information in the EMR Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment; report issues for service Follow infection prevention, regulatory, and hospital safety standards Support mentoring of new team members and participate in ongoing education Computed tomography (CT) operation Radiologic imaging protocols Patient positioning and immobilization Radiation safety and ALARA practices IV contrast administration and monitoring Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation Emergency and acute care workflow Infection prevention procedures Equipment quality control and troubleshooting Basic life support (BLS) Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography ARRT (CT) post-primary certification or eligibility State of Ohio radiologic licensure (if required by law) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386 read more
