Small Business Loan Specialty Origination & Servicing Manager

In this role you lead the Small Business Servicing team to ensure timely, accurate servicing of small business loans while upholding data integrity and compliance. You act as the operations liaison, shaping procedures and controls across servicing, documentation, and post-closing activities. You will collaborate with underwriters and branch managers to support credit requests and drive efficiency through effective supervision and process improvement. This position offers impact through risk-aware leadership in a regulated, customer-focused banking environment.

• Manage daily activities of the small business loan servicing team to ensure on-time task completion
• Ensure data integrity and CECL data point compliance
• Oversee controls for core/ancillary systems to meet audit requirements
• Develop and update servicing, documentation, and workflow procedures
• Provide servicing support for complex deals in the absence of senior staff
• Lead loan servicing, documentation, post-closing, and monitoring tasks
• Train new hires for consistency in small business loan servicing
• Perform SOX testing as needed
• Collaborate with Underwriters, Branch Managers and Business Bankers on credit requests
• Meet/exceed SLA metrics and handle inquiries from internal/external customers
• Participate in hiring, coaching, performance management, and succession planning
• Reconcile General Ledger accounts and ensure regulatory compliance
• Navigate MS Office and department-specific software to maximize efficiency
• Work in a team environment
• Engage with on-site equipment as needed
• Prepare responses to examiners/auditors as required
• Contribute to responses to examiners and internal audits

• 3-5 years of small business loan or banking experience (preferred)
• 2-6 years of supervisory experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of loan support systems
• Strong technology utilization to maximize tools
• Understanding of loan products, credit policy, compliance, and legal/regulatory issues
• Ability to interact with senior management and strategic partners
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong decision-making and risk awareness
• Effective communication, time management, and organization skills
