Junior Business Analyst

Our client in Philadelphia is seeking a Junior Business Analyst to join their team. This role is ideal for candidates with strong customer service experience, an analytical mindset, and a desire to grow within a business analysis career path.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify improvement opportunities.
• Assist in developing functional and technical specifications for projects.
• Participate in meetings, workshops, and project discussions.
• Track and document project risks, issues, and action items.
• Support system enhancements, implementations, and testing efforts.
• Create and maintain training materials and user documentation.
• Provide end-user support during and after system implementations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1–5 years of professional experience.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Some analytical experience required.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience documenting processes, requirements, or workflows.
• Exposure to business analysis, project coordination, or operational support.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
