Accounting and Finance Consulting Senior Associate (Gaming and Hospitality)

In this role, you will provide financial advisory services to casino gaming and hospitality clients as part of RSM's National Gaming and Hospitality practice. You'll work within a cross-functional team to improve processes, strengthen controls, and analyze profitability and cash management in dynamic gaming environments. The position emphasizes hands-on technical accounting, client service, and leadership of junior team members on diverse engagements. You will help clients navigate changing regulations and technology adoption, contributing to growth in a rapidly expanding practice. • Provide technical accounting support and business operation assistance
• Lead process improvement and internal controls assessments
• Support advisory projects: organizational structure, profitability analysis, cash management
• Document policies/procedures and deliver client-ready work plans
• Serve as in-charge and go-live lead, managing fieldwork and schedules
• Identify performance improvement opportunities and cross-sell services
• Develop client understanding to recognize key drivers and trends
• Collaborate with teams to deliver integrated service lines
• Build and maintain client relationships and present findings to stakeholders

• BS/BA in Accounting
• 2+ years of experience in accounting/consulting with casino/hospitality emphasis a plus
• Advanced written and verbal communication
• Strong internal control experience
• Strong US GAAP and/or IFRS technical accounting and financial reporting
• Experience with reconciliations and AJE
• Proven ability to manage staff and lead teams
• Demonstrated leadership and relationship-building skills
• Willingness to travel 75-80%
• CPA certification
