Cargill is seeking a Sanitation Technician to support safe, efficient food manufacturing operations. In this role, you will clean and sanitize production lines, equipment, and plant areas to meet strict food safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include safe use of chemicals, following GMP and HACCP procedures, documenting sanitation activities, and assisting with audits. You will collaborate with production teams, follow all safety protocols, and join a culture that values integrity, inclusion, and continuous learning while contributing to global food security. Clean and sanitize production lines, equipment, and facility areas to meet food safety and quality standards Prepare and use cleaning chemicals safely in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines Perform routine inspections of sanitation conditions and promptly report issues or hazards Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP procedures during all cleaning tasks Operate basic sanitation tools and equipment such as pressure washers and floor scrubbers Accurately complete sanitation logs, checklists, and related documentation Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to schedule and complete sanitation tasks Adhere to all safety protocols, including PPE use, lockout/tagout, and spill response Support audits and inspections by maintaining organized, compliant sanitation areas Participate in ongoing training to improve sanitation techniques and safety awareness Industrial sanitation Food safety and hygiene Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) HACCP procedures Chemical handling and dilution Use of PPE and safety protocols Cleaning and sanitizing equipment Lockout/Tagout basics Sanitation documentation and recordkeeping Operation of floor scrubbers and pressure washers Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Food Safety/HACCP training or certification (preferred) OSHA safety training (preferred) Lockout/Tagout training (preferred)5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
