SBA Business Development Officer Sr.

In this role you will originate SBA loans by actively engaging clients and analyzing their financials. You'll structure loan proposals, prepare credit packages, and ensure regulatory compliance. You work within a lending team to support SBA loan growth while maintaining excellent client service. The remote-hybrid setup supports flexible collaboration across offices and with clients. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to shape SBA lending outcomes and strengthen community banking relationships.

• Self-source SBA loan origination with emphasis on client contact and analysis
• Review financial statements, structure SBA loan proposals, complete initial analysis, and prepare credit packages
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, guidelines, and policies
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent SBA lending experience
• Minimum 5 years SBA/Business/Commercial lending experience
• SBA loan originating experience (preferred)
• Familiarity with commercial loan underwriting systems (preferred)
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task; PC and internet proficiency
