You'll set the strategy, standards, and governance for how business process controls are designed, monitored, and improved across the company.You'll work closely with senior leaders to ensure controls are consistent, effective, and scalable, while helping modernize and strengthen the overall control environment.What You'll DoSet Strategy & StandardsDefine how business process controls are governed across the companyStandardize control practices across teams and functionsLead efforts to improve and modernize controlsIdentify risks and opportunities impacting controlsProvide Oversight & ChallengeReview and challenge how controls are designed and executedAssess risks and identify weak areasRaise major issues to senior leadershipManage Issues & FixesOversee control deficiencies and remediation effortsEnsure fixes address root causes (not just short-term solutions)Track progress and report status to leadershipAudit & Compliance SupportAct as the main contact for internal and external auditorsSupport annual SOX compliance (404)Ensure the organization is audit-readyDrive TransformationLead improvements such as:Automation of controlsSimplifying and reducing unnecessary controlsImplementing GRC toolsUsing data for better monitoringPartner with Finance, Technology, and Operations teams to improve processes.LeadershipManage a team directlyInfluence cross-functional leaders (Finance, business units, etc.)What You BringRequired10+ years in SOX, audit, risk, or accounting7+ years leading teamsStrong knowledge of SOX, COSO, and financial controlsExperience working with senior leadership in complex organizationsCPA, CIA, or similar certificationPreferredBig Four or Fortune 100 experienceExperience leading large SOX transformation effortsExperience with GRC systems and automationIndustry experience (healthcare, retail, insurance, etc.)EducationBachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:$100,000.00 - $231,540.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
