NextGen Design & Build is looking for a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Interior Design Assistant & Showroom Coordinator to join our growing team! We are a locally owned and operated remodeling company and design showroom, helping homeowners bring their vision to life through beautiful kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, cabinetry, countertops, and more. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys the design industry but also has strong organizational and administrative skills. You'll work alongside our interior designer, assist customers with selections, maintain showroom materials and product information, and help keep our showroom running smoothly. Responsibilities: Assist customers with material selections, product information, and design ideas in our showroom. Support the interior designer with design projects, selections, and client presentations. Maintain and update product pricing, material specifications, and vendor information in Excel spreadsheets. Keep showroom samples, displays, price tags, and product selections organized and up to date. Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, product updates, samples, availability, and new collections. Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendor representatives. Request and organize new product samples and showroom materials. Assist with scheduling design appointments and following up with customers. Help capture photos and videos of showroom products, completed projects, and design inspiration for social media. Stay current with interior design trends, materials, and new products. Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming showroom environment. Qualifications: Interest or experience in interior design or home remodeling. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable using Excel, Microsoft Office, and basic computer programs. Good communication skills and confidence interacting with customers and vendors. Friendly, professional, and customer-service oriented. Able to multitask, take initiative, and work independently. Creative eye and interest in interior design trends. Previous showroom, interior design, administrative, or construction-related experience is a plus. Why Join NextGen?
