Special Education Teacher - Cheraw, SC
2026-2027 School Year | Full-Time | Pay Range: $45 - $49/hour
Position Details:
• Location: Cheraw, SC - Schools in the area
• Duration: August 2026 - June 2027
• Hours: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 37.5-40 hours/week
• Caseload: K-12 Opportunities Available - Resource or Self-Contained
• Required: Active SC Special Education Teaching Certification

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs
• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to support K-12 learners
• Implement behavior management strategies and positive supports
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation for compliance
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
